did the shorty headers help the sound? i want to make my rango louder and have my stock cat and a flowmaster super 44 on my 4.7 dodge, will they help the sound?

dude any 5.4L headers and catback bolt right up to the 4.6 2v from 97-03 and the 3v from 04-10

stuntrider is wrong.. look it up. Maybe for pre 04 models but not 04-up not going to work.

how are the 4.10s holding up...would u recommend them for an 98 f150 single cab 4.6 with 305/75/16 tires

Yeah. I dont think any of the 4.6's have the same intake manifold's. You can probably make most of them work, but some of the headers should be interchangeable. The 4.6 Tritons did get the PI heads in the same year as the Crown Vic (CV 2001/Mustang in 99). I know Tritons have different main caps, cam caps, flywheel bolts...but i'd think that the intake and exhaust port designs are the same...
