Have the girls responded? I hope, for their sake, that they found a better teacher, (one who gives corrections and does not allow this sort of disrespectful, awful behaviour and horrible technique) learned some respect, and got OFF those pointe shoes until they were ready. Otherwise, I'm guessing these girls have long since injured themselves into not being able to dance.
Hopefully, they have grown up a bit since 2007, and are still dancing - now beautifully. Good luck, ladies!

I am a ballet instructor among other styles and if i were your teacher i would take your pointe shoes from all 3 of you and youd never get them back. how stupid are you?! google ballet injuries that other dancers had who did the exact shit you just did. grow up girls

@danefritz2006 try running around and goofing off while all your bodys weight is on your toes. then youll understand how they will hurt themselves. the crap they were pulling off was a nightmare! i was waiting for one to fall and watch an ankle snap through her skin!

(continued)- these girls are goofing around, and making dumb decisions while en pointe which can be dangerous and the teacher isn't saying anything or making corrections. Not to mention the dress code. I'm a fan of having fun with leotards once in a while, or having more casual days, but wearing street clothes to ballet class, especially when the dancers are clearly inexperienced and need things like tights so the teacher can correct leg issues and etc. Switch studios girls!
