Jimmy Carter rose taxes, interest rates went up 20 percent, unempoyment was at its highest since the depression at 12 percent, infaltion was at a high of 15 percent. Reagan lowered taxes, unemployment went down to 7 percent and inflation went down to 4 percent and interest rates went back down to 5 percent also Ronald Reagan created 21 million jobs. what is it about this truly descent man that makes so many conservatives hate him? Is it that he builds homes for poor people or that he has a non profit center dedicated to the country's less fortunate?

jimmy carter was a great president. he inherated a bad econimic situation from republican gerald ford. yes, the carter era was not good but he did tell us the truth about oil and he managed a peace deal in the middle east. GOD BLESS AMERICA and may GOD BLESS JIMMY CARTER AND THE DEMOCRATS
