Under Nikola Gruevski, Macedonia, for the first time, stands a chance of becoming a prosperous member of Europe and the international community. Its history of self-destructive self-defeating behavior can be avoided.

So you're trying to explain the current macedonian issues with 100 year old psychoanalytic concepts:)))) I'm affraid it's not gonna work (Take some sociological theory please). Well Mr Vaknin if Macedonia is compensated narcissists, than what is Greece ???? pathological gambler, psychophatic killer or just a spoiled child protected by their Omnipotent mother , the European Union.
