why are people commenting that Ira is always better than kanaeva? Hell, if I was taught by Shtelbaums I would be looking up to Tchachina too!

for sure Evgenia kanaeva can never be Irina Tchachina but it doesn't mean tschachina is best or better than Kanaeva Obviously both had the same coach but i think now situations are different Tchachina was second and most of the time shadowed by Alina Kavaeva......In the caase of Evgenia situation is completely different She is undisputedly number one Gymnast in National Team and even no other gymnast seems to rival her.

both evgenia kanaeva and irina tchachina have many qualities like the toe point, the amount of muscle on their legs and arms, the leg flexibility, and more. you can disagree with me if you want, but i'm just gonna put that out there.

i do rythmic !! but not so well

theyre both good gymnastics but kanaeva always seems sloppy and is more about flexibility which shes amazing at
irina had the grace etc
it has nothing to do with the same coach, bessonova and godunko had the same coach and theyre completley different? they will be taught things the same, but not to do things the same, even a coach will want originatlity and gymnasts will often create their own elements

Chaschina is 8 years older than Kanaeva, and they have the same coach. The coach just used to put a lot of Chaschina's original elements into Kanaeva's routines as well, as Chaschina retired even before Kanaeva turned 16. Nowadays Kanaeva has amazingly original routines herself, so maybe in the future we'll see a little girl with Kanaeva's elements ;)
