  • I've never heard anyone say that we should drill domestically in order to meet all our oil needs.

  • @James92802.....fyi 4.8 billion is the proven reserve in ANWAR. look at the data....also 120 billion barrels will last 15 years.

  • The estimated volume of undiscovered, technically recoverable oil in the rest of the United States is about 120 billion barrels. Care to do the math on that?

    Do you think that we could both reduce the price of domestic oil AND fund research into alternative energy?

    I'm thinking you will say no.

    I'm thinking you don't like Nuclear, or wind mills in your back yard.

    But then again you have no problem fudging the numbers, 4.8 billion?
