@geekyranjit Thank you so much for the help

@misspurpleladi Hardware wise the main way to maximize simultaneous speed is utilizing both radios 5ghz & 2.4ghz. Main things spread your devices over both channels and not relying on just one. E.g. my non important devices and computers are on 2.4ghz. Only my Laptop and MediaCentre on reserved for 5ghz. Software and WiFi settings wise is dark art to get it right.

I've only had the WNDR4500 for about a day so far so I can't really speak on problems right now.
I'd say it's worth paying more for a faster router that has more features and will hopefully work longer though.

@35g70 Was the price difference worth it?
I'm considering in purchasing the WNDR3700. Although,a myriad number of stories regarding it's connectivity problem has putt me off.
Have you experienced any problems so far with the WNDR4500?

I just had to replace my WNDR3700 because the connection would drop out for periods of 5-10 minutes. The new WNDR4500 I got is quite a bit faster though.
Hello sir I am deciding between this router and the Asus RT N56U that you also have. Which one would you recommend? Thanks

@brokendoe: Asus N56U would be my choice, I have also done a detailed review of the same so please check that.

So I have a dumb question. I have multiple wireless devices: wii, psp, ipod touch, ipad...and so on and I brought this router to help alleviate the slow down when using all or some of the devices simutaneously. Is there a way to separate the network to prevent the slow down?

@misspurpleladi: As you mentioned Wii do not use that over WiFi if u can coz it is using the old G standard and old encryption standards and that will slow down the entire network, as this is a dual-band router check what devices support 5 Ghz band and use that for those devices for better throughput.... see this video that I made on tips to optimize your wifi network /watch?v=SiEfYv1hdJ8

Hi Ranjit,
Thanks for your review.
I've been using this router for about ~4 months now... I've got about 10 - 15 active devices connected to the router... and I find that the connection drops out on a regular basis... I have to physically switch the power off.. and then start it again to reset the connection. Any ideas how we can fix this?
Thanks!

@ajitliveshere: Yep this router is just average performance on 2.4 Ghz band for the price it commands..... see if you have some devices that can use the 5 Ghz and move them over.... also make sure you are not using any older Wifi devices that use the b/g band it will lower the entire throughout.
