Nice vid, bro. Very helpful. Performing this upgrade on my wife's toy. Looks a heck of a lot easier than I expected (non-converted pc user / geek).

$320? you must have bought it from Steve Jobs himself

it would be a better if his hand wasn't in the way of the video so much, changing the camera angle would do wonders. does the job tho. thanks

Great tutorial. Thanks.

This video saved me the trouble of taking my machine to a dealer to have RAM put in. It showed me everything I needed to do it myself. The speaker was clear and I appreciated the Picture in Picture that demonstrated the technique while I could see him talk: very professionally produced. Thanks! For the record, buying 8GB RAM from OWC Feb 8, 2012 cost me $45 instead of the $320 it cost him.

the imac would be running the 12gb in dual channel mode not triple channel... which is what 12gb would do, its just the way apple has setup the imac. weeird huh

@Alyxm screen sorry - it might aswell be a mirror.. one thing about all of this new tech, too reflective, have pc monitors and they dont reflect shit except light but its all fuzzy and blurry making the screen a lot easier to see.
