  • True artists are often unknown, like lost treasures in the sea. You gave this young man a big smile his face. Thank you.

  • @somsom1 Very kind-thanks!

  • Great Feeling from the band but FLAT.

  • @JakietheGeordie Flat singing?

  • This is really neat. The singer's voice, the acoustic piano, brushes, quotes from Trespass and the whole arrangement make the song sound like how it might've sounded if performed by pre-Collins, pre-Hackett Genesis at a house show in 1969. Great job!

  • @sinisterscrawl Nicely said-thanks so much!

  • @igenesisproject --thanks for disabusing Robert of the very ridiculous notion that this was about Dr. Who.

I believe I read the same interview as you. It's sort of a dream tale with no specific "message" or reference, which is the open-ended way I like lyrics to be --a narrative, but not explicit, if possible.

  • I like it. You captured a bit of the genesis spirit here. I usually click off covers within 5 seconds into the song, but I watched the whole thing. Maybe because it's such an obscure song (not to us genesis fans of course) and you did it well. I like the house setting too.

  • For the record, though, Tony said in the early 80s that it had nothing to do with Dr Who. All the flying, sliding and Sarah Jane-ing don't make it a bad inference, though.

  • Great job. The ending was just a cherry on top!

  • Not bad, This isnt an easy song in the first place. Abacab as a whole was a fantastic album. too bad this track, along with you might recall where omitted. Unless your lucky enough to own the rare version of the live album (I have) or the Abacab Complete, your without... sad... Anyway, very good job!

  • this chord sequence at 4:11 is so uplifting , awesome job fellas !

  • Great job, is that Billy Joel on piano?

  • Good job!

  • Absolutely amazing, I loved it! The singing, piano, bass and drums are all beautifully done, thanks for posting this.

  • Very nice fellas!
