@mycheesesteak Thank you! Sorry for the delay in reply, between health circumstances and physical obligations sometimes I am slower in response than others! One of the things a person can do without handing out money is to recycle your flash/thumb drives to ThumbsUPForHomelessPeople A by-product of that? I'm one of the folks who gives them out through EmPower Connect! If you give me another day, I can put together a list of the great suggestions others have made on that subject.

@LostAwarenessvlog Awesome RD! Go for it! Thx for helping others. What can the average person do to help the homeless besides handing out money? That's a given. What else? I've told some people about job opportunities, I've talked to them and offered encouragement and tried to let them and others know that they are not pariahs. Any other ideas?

@mycheesesteak I too am happy & grateful to be housed! :) One of the reasons I was homeless is due to my arm/left side health issues. A standard job is no longer something I can do, I receive SSDI. However, thanks to the community I have entered through social media, it's been pointed out to me that social engagement, public speaking, & facilitating interactive group expression are part of my talent set. Being the problem solver I am, those are the venues for future income. Rd (LostAwareness)
