severus + lily | just a little girl

This is a bit off on a tangent from canon, but not completely. It's more of a 'theory' type thing. Snape feels that he has to choose between his love for Lily, and his want for acceptance within the Death Eaters/Slytherin group, as he has to choose one or the other because they are so completely different. Eventually he convinces himself that Lily is just a little girl, and that he fits in better with the Death Eaters. He argues with her, and she is hurt, and then eventually his own decisions come back to hurt him, too.

Just a Little Girl - Trading Yesterday

I pitch shifted the song in order to have a sort of 'conversation between Lily and Snape. It's not perfect for the Lily ones, but I just thought it fitted better than having it just be Snape. Also some of the transitions could have been better, but I just couldn't get them right.
So proud of the edit at the end though! xD Took a while to get that right.
