USA - The future of TV News could look like this...the computer generated voice still sounds very artificial, but the text looks far more natural. Believe it or not, no human being was involved in the making of this movie review, it was entirely written and read by machine. Scary? Yes, especially if you are a journalist, suddenly discovering a robot could take your job. France 24 went to meet the two brains behind this fiendish plan: two professors at Northern University in Illinois, USA.
Machines are still so constantly glitchy that they need constant human guidance, so I call bullshit. When any computerize gadget I use can go 10 minutes without an error, and misinterpret everything, I'll believe that someone managed to create a system that can produce a review.
