  • I wanna see the International Bridge twinned someday.

    I also wanna see a second (east/west) freeway in the UP someday.

  • This video is a perfect example of an attempt to "put lipstick on a pig". MDOT has been, and continues to be, one of the worst run bureacracies ever created. Over 100 years of operation and we have no public transportation, crumbling roads, and policies that exacerbate urban sprawl. Not quite the track record I would want....

  • Michigan does not have enough money for its critical road needs now and yet wants to build an unneeded bridge project costing billions as traffic plummets and P3 money dries up.

    Instead, let the Ambassador Bridge Company risk their private money on their Enhancement Project. As a huge side benefit, Michigan would earn $2 billion in Federal matching Grants for use on MDOT road projects.

    However, MDOT piles dirt on new bridge access roads and litigates Ridiculous.
