@dirtybootzdownunder Thanks anyway.

Sorry l cant help you with that,
-
@imcrime That is also a good idea but what type of bit would you use. My tub is quite solid and it would break the bits I have or burn out my drill.
-
That is a really good idea. I have a tub and did not put the wood down to elevate it and the worms did drown. I think I will use your method and try again. Thanks for the great idea.

how much dirt do you need to add in the tub for redworms?
-
did you have a sucuss with the worms added???
-
that is not worm tea ..it's called "lecheate",,it comes from water dripping from the rotting materials...do not confuse this with a worm tea, which is brewed from the finished worm castings...big difference.

I love vermiculture! Why not just drill holes all on the bottom of the tub, allowing for more room and less construction materials - then add a collection tray to collect the run off or tea. A drain could be added to the collection try for tea on tap! Great job though! Thanks for the video!

Excellent video right on.
I think using coarse gravel would work better then all that timber and metal and garden cloth.
Glad you got something out of it, thanks for watching

Just finished a video on how I set my worm bed up. Will be posting it in a couple of weeks. Yours is a little different than mine cause I'm not collecting the tea. Enjoyed the video...... Donald
