The Kingsway tunnel is unmistakable. It's changed a bit since then though!

@12dogbreath12 He also taught me to drive: this was a bit of pressure as my dad was a road safety guru and Arthur was his right hand man! He taught me in an Escort but told me to take the test in a Mini as I was capable of reversing that around a corner (unlike the Escort)... I passed, phew.

@kaferere Yes he was a lovely bloke.
Often around our house when I was growing up and all the films were being made - he was my father's right hand man.
And yes, the 'body shape' put me off the scent
Mind you I remember when I worked at Horsmans in the 70s, Arthur bounding up the stairs 3 at a time and saying 'not bad for a 56 year-old' or something similar.

@12dogbreath12 That's amazing, I only knew Arthur when he had gained a little bit of weight (don't we all!) and had lost some hair but facially it looks very much like him. He had quite a unique face. He was my my driving instructor in the early '70's. He was co-pilot in the East African safari rally once. I'm not sure of the spelling of his name either, I was guessing! He used to talk a lot about the old days on his motorbike, he loved the bikes. Lovely bloke. Thanks for replying

@kaferere I had taken him to be Bill Quinn (who I don't really remember) but I think you're right about it being Arthur (I remember him as Sir rather than Sur). I knew Arthur well, but when he (and I!) was older: I think I might be the toddler at 18 minutes,

My dad was Eric Wilson & we had this film put onto a VHS tape in about 1990. I did some copies after my Dad died which were sold at bike shows. Only realised after selling 500 copies that we only had 27 minutes of the original film on tape! After a 15 year search I've found a full 40 minute version which has now been copied to DVD. If anyone would like a copy please mail me. dave-bonner@hotmail.com Ta, Dave Wilson
If you look carefully at around 25 seconds in you will see a winners cup to the right (as you look) of Victor Horsman, Steve from Z Power Leigh Lancs. says he won that cup 3 times in the following years, in a Horsman sponsored, road race championships,
