Hi rantingone, congrats on the 66! I have had no problems at all with the air cleaners. The engine runs warm but I have added a 3.5 quart oil sump to the bottom of the engine and I run 15/40 weight oil so in the hot summer days it runs cool,which means longer warm-up times before I drive her.

Hi, i just got a 66 type 34. I was wondering if you have had any trouble running separate air cleaners without routing fresh air lines from the air box to them. does your engine run hot, or just a little warmer? The p/o never got the carbs set right so i have to go back and do all that. i was considering making a fresh air intake as well, just wondering if it would make a difference.
