@Dengkaidou yea, under the husbands CARE and r supposed to listen to his decisions (I don't like the word 'obey' it sounds oppressive to me, idk y) but if my mom told me something, I'd listen to her first. A husband is someone you get together with. You're parents are the ones who bore and raised you, your mom went through pain to have you (for which we'll never even be able to pay her back for ONE contraction pain, even if we carried her around on our backs for the rest of our lives!)...

@TangySweet14 xD...husband come first before the parent...it is bcoz after marriage women r 100% under husband responsibilty...all expenses must be cover by the husband....
but the husband must respect the wife's parent..that y i said marry the man who put his parent first before anything else....bcoz that man will understand the relationship between em..xD

@TangySweet14 well u can say that in the west...but in the east the divorce percentage r low..almost unheard of..am not boasting but it is a fact..xD

@PUSSY100ish Because her "gorgeous beauty" isn't some cheap piece of art for everyone to enjoy :) Only her good (female) friends and family get that privilege~ Plus, I'm sure she doesn't want to be appreciated for whether ppl find her ugly or pretty; she wants to be appreciated for her choices (such as belief in Islam and covering of the body) and actions, and the headscarf successfully does that whether other ppl realize it or not. At least that's why I wear it; it may be y Sabrina wears it too

@Dengkaidou "spouse" is second after parent (especially mother!). I'm assuming you also meant "husband is 2nd after the parent" but I said "spouse" just to clarify :) You're so right tho! I mean, our mothers went through so much pain and time and effort to raise us!

@markymarkali Lol!! Someone's been reading too many romance novels or believing tv shows and movies a little too much! That's a very unrealistic expectation. Love is soo overrated in the media. If love was what made a marriage, there wouldn't be divorce. Personality compatibility and shared values and respect make a successful marriage. If you read up on the science of attraction (what is portrayed as "love" in movies etc.) then you would know that it's a fleeting feeling that lasts for 2-4 yrs
