Do you like corn?
I knew that you did.

Classic film from the early years (1969?). The music especially dates it and sounds more like Romper Room than typical Sesame Street, but it's one of the early "people films" that I never forgot.

  • Wow, what a healthy lunch. I use to like this clip a lot back in the day. When I was little, I didn't realize how annoying that little girl's voice was. : )

  • "...and there inside it, WAS A CONE ON THE COB!!"

  • I could watch this all day, it's so wonderfully innocent and simple. It's good for my soul.

  • Wow, I remember watching that back in the early 70s when I was about four years old and being absolutely fascinated by it. Thank you so much for posting this and the other vintage Sesame Street clips.

  • the narrator of the film, sure didn't sound like Jenny, when she spoke on the film!

  • Was Mrs Wilson a vegan?

  • too bad this wasn't included on the first sesame street old school dvd set.

  • @1952kid Back in the 60's? i don't think so. this is a nice video though. I just wish Mrs Wilson had cooked the beet greens. Those are really good.

  • mrs wilson sounds like captain janeway

  • that background music is pretty

  • I think Jenny enjoyed picking, but looked a little overwhelmed about a 100% vegetable lunch. I would have gone straight for the corn, too, and then said "I'm full".

  • The wonderful 1960's , little kids would watch this now, its got that grandma's house magic to it. A peek into simpler days when kids acted like kids and had long extended childhoods and your only worry was , dont be late for dinner .

  • I think this is an important issue for children today: awarness- of- origins. Not only food, but our whole environment as well, thank you!
