Frederick Hodges played such a fabulous set at this West Coast Ragtime Festival five years ago I have never forgotten it. It was just too good not to post. This first clip includes part of Roy Bargy's "Jim Jams," all of W. C. Polla's "Dancing Tambourine," Phil Ohman's "Up and Down the Keys," and Muriel Pollock's "Rooster Rag." Sacramento, California - November 20, 2005.
Tell him Polla is correct.

I love this guy! I've made so many DVD's of him playing that now I have to buy all of his CD's so I can listen to him play in my car....What a great talent he is! One of his great talents is his ability to improvise on a rag or anything he plays.....

People who don't play the piano will just have to take my word for it...Frederick Hodges is one of the most talented pianists on Earth. This kind of piano playing and musicianship is truly extraordinary.
