@xcash7 - The "mark of the beast" is following man-made traditions in contrary to Biblical truths. Accepting the pope as the vicar of Christ, is a mark of the Beast. Accepting a "good works" based salvation, is a mark of the Beast. The Mark on the forehead means a thoughtful decision. The Mark on the hand means actions and deeds. So when someone bows down to the eucharist wafer-god, or prays to Mary or Allah, of thinks salvation is based on a scale of more good than evil, that is the Mark.

@UCAGIB - That is completely ridiculous. Almighty God is not going to judge us based on something slipped by unnoticed or unrecognized. We will be judged based solely on Holy Scripture and the Gospel of salvation. Before we try to identify the "mark of the beast", we must identify the Beast. When we properly identify the Beast, the mark is when we knowingly accept Beast ideology over Gods mandates. When we make that decision, we are either marked by the Beast or sealed by the Holy Spirit.

@d3ltadrive - The Apostle John is the one who used the word "antichrist". If you look in the KJV bible, there is no definite article (the) in front of it. Matter of fact, John actually uses the word "antichrists".

@WhenDreamsTouchFire - True! Read Rev 18 and apply it to what we are seeing now on the global economic scene. The EU (The Vatican's brainchild) is going into decline. Nations are revolting. Our own nation is collapsing into decline. The true axis of evil is the Vatican (political & economic) + Rothschild's Bank of England + The Federal Reserve Cartel in the USA. The army is the Illuminati, Jesuits, CIA, KGB, Freemasonry (Skull & Bones, Club of Rome, etc.) It's already in place.

@WhenDreamsTouchFire - It is not applying to nations. Taking the mark is an individual decision. I honestly don't know where you get the idea I said "nations would take the mark". I did say that for a literal mark, only those in affluent nations would be able to afford such a daunting task. Regardless, it is a personal decision and the mark is submitting to the will of the apostate church in mind and deeds. That is the true meaning of the mark.

@WhenDreamsTouchFire - If you go back to Daniel 2, we see the great iron legs which signified pagan Rome of the Caesars. Notice the feet were part iron mingled with clay. Unlike the other empires, pagan Rome did not fade away into obscurity. It was resuscitated by the political power of the papacy. The diocese were based on imperial lines. The pope even took the pagan title of Rome, Pontifus Maximus. This is the little horn of Daniel 7 which waxed great.

@WhenDreamsTouchFire - The papacy died, but was brought back to life. The Lateran Treaty was signed between the pope and Benito Mussolini in 1929. For his political backing, Mussolini created a city-state in the center of Rome and handed it to the pope. The pope is king and the temporal power of the church was restored. The mortal wound was healed. They became once again both a church and a political power.

@WhenDreamsTouchFire - This time prophecy of 42 months (1260 years) was fulfilled in 538 AD, when the Goths were driven from the city of Rome and the pope was declared universal bishop. Exactly 1,260 years later, in 1798 AD, the French General Berthier captured the pope in Rome. The general bound the pope in irons and led him into captivity where the pope later died. The intention of Napoleon was not just to bring down the pope, but to bring an end to the entire wicked church system.

@WhenDreamsTouchFire - What does the Bible say? "In his hand... In his forehead". These are works of the hand carried out by the works of the mind. It's not literal. Let's go bac to the very beginning of Revelation. What does John say about it? "... signified it by his angel unto his servant John" Rev 1:1 Signified means it was given to John in symbolic form. So we are not looing for literal marks, any more than literal locusts or beasts.

@WhenDreamsTouchFire Is this seal visible or tangible? “Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.” Jn 6:27

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,” Where does this imply the mark is visible, or even tangible?

@WhenDreamsTouchFire - Accepting the "mark of the beast" has been going on for the last 1,700 years. The mark is not reserved for the wealthy countries living in the 21st century. The Beast is the unholy union of religious, economic, political/military Babylon. The whore of Rev 17 has ridden every political/military system since the Roman Empire to Nazi Germany. Today, she is still making concordats and entangling herself in world finance and government.

@WhenDreamsTouchFire - Regardless of the ramifications, it is still a choice. Because of the Tim LaHaye fictional writings "Left Behind", people think everything is way out in the future. Do you know this prophecy had its fulfillment in history? During the papal dark ages (several hundred years), there was no trade with heretics. No buying, selling, no burial in consecrated land, no salvation. If you did not accept the pope as "holy father", you were put out... and usually burned alive.
