Panasonic FS33 (FH22) test video. This is my new camera. It will not allow zooming when filming video, but other than that the video is very good in 720p HD in my opinion.

  • You need to install memory card

  • hi, um i dont know how to set it to that hd mode? can you please explain how? thanks :)

  • @LOVEtwilightPARAMORE

Make sure you have the camera set to take a motion picture- just as you would when about to shoot your video. Then press q menu button. You will then see boxes appear on the screen and the one top second left will say 'QVGA' or 'VGA' or 'WVGA' Press this and select 'HD'

  • hi, i was wondering how you film on HD? because i got this camera, and i film and all, it looks clear while i am filming, but when played back on the camera or the PC it is blurry and the sound isnt very good.

is there anything else i have to do other than selecting the "motion picture" mode?

    please let me know!

    thank you !

Hi as you can see it is not blurry. Have you got it set to HD mode 720p. The sound is OK but like most is affected by wind noise if it is even slightly windy. Inside or on a calm day the sound should be good.

  • Stills are great I get some lovely photos with this camera- big improvement on my Old Canon Ixus. The Intelligent Auto seems to work well selecting the correct scene mode and the optical image stabiliser is great. The firmware update also makes the touchscreen a lot faster now.

  • Hi, i have this camera too. What programme did you put the video in to export it to youtube?

  • Ohh well let me just keep rocking! Lol

  • @wakeywarrior

Didn't work for me, 'QVGA' button is inactive, I can't press/touch it.

  • It seems to be quite steady. Is it on a tripod or do you just have a really steady hand?

  • SOO What about the rec audio. Stereo? Surround or something like that??

  • hi, my assumptions were correct - i was yet to get a memory card as didnt have any i wanted when picked up the camera, so i thought it was maybe because i didnt have enough memory. got a memory card today and filmed much better!! thanks though!!!
