Out on the DRZ400e trying to learn to get it up at slow speeds. Video was filmed with a gopro wide. I was using the clutch and dragging the rear brake to get to almost a dead stop.

  • @nickmckinney407 Every bike has a "powerband", meaning the area in the rev range where there is the most power. A modern 4stroke bike simply has a linear "powerband" compared to a 2stroke which has a powerband that generally comes on strong at one point.

  • i think your a novice doing this wheelie on the ground. got to do it perfect before posting your video.. amigo.

  • @extremedavidson Nope still can't do it perfect, drz is gone, moved on to a crf250x. Vids are coming.

  • absolut NO talent!!!!!look at teh kanal airpain...i am the rider with the seatstander wheelie on drz 400sm ....WAY ARE YOU FILMING THIS....you can film it,if you can....mabe never

  • @hydrobionik Were you drunk when you posted this, or is english not your first language? Like i said in the tile, i was learning. I'm no wheelie expert, and don't even have that bike any longer. I was simply practicing lofting the front wheel up for opstacles, not to ride it across the field.

  • @nickmckinney407 powerband is not a phisical band it is a make up of many components

  • dont hate on this he is just showing that he is trying to learn how to wheelie. and all bike do have a power bamd its a point were it has the most power. on a 2 stroke they have a valve that constrics the exsaust and then opens durring high rpm. wen it opens more exsaust flow give the engine more power. they generaly dont have power valves on 4 strokes

  • I cant do slow wheelies on my drz400s either, bit I can do it from 2nd until I run of of power in 5th. these kids on here dont know what a powerband really is, if you were to tell them in reality what they are actually refering to is the power-reed on a 2-stroke... they wouldnt know what youre talking about. probably wouldnt even know what a reed is. i like your explanation to nickminney407, well said

  • @nickmckinney407 hahahahha dumbass

  • Personally I think this is a good video, shows how we all start out, there are so many experts on youtube there mustn't be any room for beginners, its a pity, why not be more constructive and help beginners instrad of slating them?

  • Nice first efforts. I'm trying to learn them myself.

  • still cant keep my bike up, have started doing the same thing. good luck
