KSC Throwers at Fitchburg State 4/3/10

Much better weather this time around, but the meet was run so poorly that Colton and I didn't get to do anything at all until about 4 in the afternoon. By the time we were ready to throw, we were already exhausted from walking/sitting around in the sun for 5 hours. Better results all around, however. Highlights: Dante breaks the outdoor school record and Whitney PR's with a DIII NE qualifier in shot put, Glen throws a PR of 7 or so feet in javelin, Whitney, Keeley, and Colton all throw personal bests in hammer, and I throw a decent mark in discus, inches from the DIII New England qualifier. It's early in the season and we've still got much to work on. UMass Lowell this Saturday; could be a great meet, weather permitting.
