Haven't seen this in 40 years, give or take. Thanks! There was jazz behind it; No wonder I remember it as being very good. Eventually, the CBS Special Presentation intro kind of took over and lasted for many years.

in 1973 and 1974, they used to show this AND the swirling "special" one right after the other. i thought that was tremendous overkill, and i had to wait 5 more seconds for charlie brown and snoopy to start.
