Barrel Jumping, Holiday on Ice, Paris 1980, Steve Baxter

1979 Silver Division, opening night in Paris. I remember I just put on brand-new blades, I didn't even have a chance to warm up and test them, thus the choppy performance. I have more footage of the Silver Division if anyone is interested.

I used to go to Maracanãzinho, the Gymnasium near Maracanã Football Stadium everyday. My school was right between them. Sometimes I could see you sharpenning the blades and the blades of your ice skates were bigger then the others. I was 14 years old then. And every season I was there, again and again. It's nice to see you again. Thank you so much for recording your performance.
