Fla. Men Guilty in Homeless Beating Death

Two men were convicted Friday of killing a homeless man with a baseball bat and viciously attacking two others in 2006. One of the beatings was captured on videotape, outraging homeless advocates nationwide. (Sept. 19)

@johnhassle I reject your version of reality and substitute my own. Now, question: Since the reality of the human condition is that we have a lot of variety, some stupid people, some smart people: Is it helping anyone to let stupid win? That we just give up and think that have no part in this world? I'm sorry, I don't mean to make an issue with anyone here, but I'm just curious to know people just assume that's all the world can be, knowing full well that they can change it. Fear is poisonous.

I just attempted to write the comple story of what exactly happened the night of the murder but then I looked down and saw that I had exceeded the character count by 500 & I wasn't halfway through the story. It would have been a real weight off my chest. Anyway I was attacked as well & called 911 to frighten them into fleeing. It's a long story, but I remember everything as though it were yesterday. The whole thing was cought on surveilance cameras again, but since this time the fellow died...

I'll laugh when these kids get off on probation in 15 or 20 years (life never really means life in this country), get out of prison, can't find work, and become homeless themselves. And then most likely some punk kids will come around and knock the crap out of them.
