@mantov70 yep you're right, i took retromobile out of context so misinterpretted the title. like i said it could be the original or a replica, no way to really be sure unless you actually got to take a look at the car itself.
@darkarts59 I think it is a replica of that car, that's why there is the retromobile title, i might be wrong though it could be the actual car that raced in '72. Great car that one was, so so very fast and a brilliant sound too. Fantastic racer, I always loved it's design. Matras were just so cool

@AnAngryPossom I think you are wrong because "retromobile" is the french annual event in january or february about the theme of ancient cars.
So I'm not sure the matra is a replica.It would be possible it is an original restored car,owned by private collector.
please consult "retromobile" on google for more informations about that.
