I have a 1999 Audi A6 Quattro as well. I noticed you don't have the standard radio system in there. Q: Did you need any special installation kit to put a diffrent stereo system in? I bought a 7 inch boss pop out screen for mine and the audi store guy opened it up and told me he doesn't know if he can wire it to the stereo system i bought, any advice i would appreciate. Thanks

@TheWaPREPPER it took a long time i to get that freakin thing in there, filling down some of the plastic in the slot to make it fit.The only reason your boss radio wouldnt work is beacse the back two speakers in the car are powered by a separate built in amplifier, not the head unit and thus need a low level signal. you can buy an adapter($10-15) that fits onto the audi connecter that has the rca plugs that go into the 'rear' output on the radio your installing
