@Jpressman8 EXACTLY! People should see this as a beautiful coming together of nations to build one great structure. American's should be proud that they designed and engineered it... while those from the UAE should enjoy it for years to come.

@federalbureau Hey i'm from the U.S. and I think this is an engineering marvel and cool as hell. I don't understand it either. If some people would do their research they would find that the company that engineered this building is in Chicago. They had the money to build it. So be it. I'd rather enjoy it than argue about it. : )

relax they started the building 6 years ago Dubai is all about reaching goals, what where they supposed to do?

Dubai does not have oil, it gets the money mostly from tourism, this will boost the tourism and I am sure it will pay of in the future, politics, traditions and religion aside; Ive been there, best experience of my life, the people, everything is great, its not all black or white you know!
