A 4 days solo trekking trip covering approx. 70 km on foot on the beautiful mountains of Hardangervidda west in Norway on August 2010. A fantastic trip eventhough the weather hasn't been nice with me at least 1 or 2 of the days. But it was an unforgetable experience.

  • @trond3trond boots can look alike but they can be so different in quality. I prefer boots not only to support my ankels but also for crossing streams. Usually good quality boots/shoes should last long and support the foot good. But sometimes areas in the boots that supports the foot can get worn out and start causing you problems. The best is to buy new. I find that good quality boots is the most important thing for a succesfull trekking trip. Never save money on boots.

Thanks for adding that answer.I was wondering, you see.I have boots (actually they look more like shoes,I think) that looks a lot like yours, and they'll start to cause pain here and there after longer treks. But obviously, since you kept on going,I would assume they worked out nicely for you.

Have a good trip, wherever you go next.

    Til lykke!

  • @trond3trond By the way my boots are great. Absolutely no problem with them.

  • @trond3trond You bet I was dead tired after 10 hours. Hungry of course, but I always take breaks for short meals on the way. I'm always aware of what type of cabins I visit. I do a lot of study before any trip.

    Ha det bra :-)

  • Very nice video shots!

I'll bet you were hungry and tired after a 10 hour hike.Hellevassbu is a self serviced lodge,if I'm not mistaking.Hope you were aware of that in advance.

Hope you didn't have to much problems with your shoes, they seemed a bit rigid to me.

  • this was beautiful. (I am Alberto)
