If you remember I wrote to you asking about your trucking career and why it went wrong. I wrote that I didn't agree with your "lifestyle." You then became uneasy that I didn't agree with your lifestyle and you wrote that you shouldn't write things like that if you don't want a shooting match.

Very tragic Ron. I think it is a sad state of affairs in Texas. Is that what the saying "Texas, its a whole other nation" means?

The guns are CONCEALED and HIDDEN from the students and we don't know where they are. And on top of that we have a top of the line security system and the guns are just the cherry on top. Over the last year we have not even had a gun fired on campus. And Texas is a whole other nation, it is the only one taking the step to protecting their youth.

And all of the teachers who do have their concealed handgun license, had to go through about a week of training, on target practice and on technique and proper handling on their weapon. i trust these teachers with my life and i know they will do anything to protect me or any of my school mates, and if we have a terrorist attack at our school, i would LOVE to have a trained teacher with a gun than a mindless teacher without one like the ones who probably taught you.

Let me guess, your a democrat. You don't know what the crap your talking about, this is one of the best things that could have happened to the education system. First of all, you don't know the environment or the advancement of this school. here in Harrold, we all know everybody, students and staff, like family. the sheriff's office is about 20 miles away from the campus and the last time we needed police out here it took them about thirty minutes for them to get out here.

Listen, you don't need to close down any schools or stop the current flow of education. All that you need to prevent all of the school shootings you're probally worried about is well armed security. Security that is trained to know when and where to shoot, if needed. And then you won't have to worry about shhotings because the individuals that usually think it's a good idea to shoot up a school would get scared from this security.

We're so paranoid that we're afraid of our own friends and neighbors, and for no sustainable reason. Someone PLEASE explain to me how more guns are supposed to combat this?
