Hey Zane1os.. No I didn't cross the Jardine.. I'm not THAT hardcore! But I did visit the old Jardine crossing and have some footage which I will upload in the comming months.. Thanks

I think by law you have to use the ferry.

hey mate. I think it's generally preferred by the local indigenous communities that the ferry is taken, though you can still cross the Jardine if you're keen enough. The ferry of course provides you with a camping permit to access indigenous lands north of the Jardine, so that would most likely be a dominant factor for their preferences. You wouldn't want to do the Jardine alone! Thanks.
