I was invited to watch the training of Recon Company 4th Separate Guards Kantemirovskaya Order of Lenin Order of the Red Banner Tank Brigade, located in Naro-Fominsk city, Moscow region.

Shooting from RPG-7 and RPG-26, individual and team firing training, and just a few seconds with snipers.

All soldiers in the video are conscripts with 5-6 months of service.

  • @kamphwagon1 Hm, yeah I see your point. Maybe a good idea would be to try to fill the ranks of the officers with 100% contract soldiers. Then maybe make 30-40% of the ground forces contract soldiers and the rest could stay conscripts. They could place the contract soldiers in the hot zones like the North Caucasus and use the conscripts as a quick reaction highly mobile response group. Something highly useful for conflicts like Georgia where the attack was sudden and without warning.

  • @MrKALISHNIK0V47 In actuality , in the case of limited conflicts they have more value otherwise not so much in the case of large scale conflicts where your going to have to rely on conscription to fill the ranks anyway.. Looking a the US's difficulty in keeping a couple hundred thousand boots on the ground with out conscripts.. No doubt attracting more professional types would help ...

  • @kamphwagon1 I still think that Russia's military could perform better with more highly trained and better equipped contract soldiers.

  • Liked the video , but whats interesting is the fact borne out that Russian conscripts aren't as inept as some folks here on YT would like everyone to belive.. Motovation is the key factor of any fighting force conscript or otherwise, that is speaking from experience.. When a ill equiped enemy walks close to a thousand miles with nothing but a old chi-com bolt action an 6 rnds of ammo to take a pot shot at you butt, I call that a motovated soldier !....

  • cool

  • The sound exactly like those spetsnaz from call of duty P)
