  • In space, no one can hear you play this game.

  • Type: "Opne door" - Response: "I'm sorry but you may want to OPNE the door but I certainly wont" \\ Type: "Open dooor" - Response: "I don't know what a dooor is but there certainly are none around here" \\ Type: "Open the f#cking door!" - Response: "You need a card key" \\ Dammit!

  • @bogercs why would you want to play this game in space other than to feel the game's theme as you play?

  • RIP Sierra, so sad Activision killed you guys =(

  • @danthman114 I adored Sierra games. Unfortunately after the Amstrad and Amiga route my family chose Mac. (We didn't have consoles 'til I was an adult) so I never played further than KQ 3 SQ 3, LLS 2, Gold rush. But those games stand out in my memory so much that I cannot bear to throw out the boxes that the games came in! I loved the naughtiness (ability to swear and have the game react was hilarious as a child). They really extended my vocab too. So learning did happen whilst having fun!

  • This game transformed my childhood from simple childishness to adventure supreme! The ability to interact and have my words reacted to by a computer game was the beginning of the end for me - after this I was no longer satisfied with being a spectator (TV, books, movies) I wanted to be involved (games).

Having no access to internet, cheats or adult help the moment that I realised "insert cartridge into slot" rather than put/shove/stick/slot etc was a changing moment in my early life.

  • Watching this just made me sooo happy. Like I was a little kid again sitting in my room on my Tandy 100HX without a care in the world.

  • @DirectorGoss Are you implying im unintelligent? I was an 6 year old kid. How could i have known that i needed to type "open bay doors"? etc

  • @flute1234 people used their minds a lot more back then. Today the games almost play for you.

  • @FuzionXGlitcher Or you can play it through ScummVM, since it's been merged with FreeSCI project and now supports Sierra Engine games.

  • If you want to play spacequest 1 throguh 5 goto DosBox.com download it then get spacequest free.

  • Loved this game as a child...I always have nostalgia when I watch old adventure games. Too bad they don't make games like this anymore.
