Priyanka Chopra Harman Baweja Promoting Whats your Rashee

Whats Your Raashee? based on a Gujarati novel by Madhu Rye titled Kimball Ravenswood . In the novel an NRI boy comes to India and is on a bride-hunting spree. He has to choose a girl from the 12 prospective brides. Ashutosh took the challenge of casting the same girl (Priyanka Chopra) in 12 different roles rather than having 12 different actresses play leads like in the novel because he felt that that would have created a star-hierarchy in the audience mind. He wanted each of the 12 characters to be looked upon with the same interest level. Also, Ashutosh has changed the ending of the novel. So even the people who have read the book wont be able to guess which Priyanka does Hurman marry.

Whats Your Rashee? is another three-hour saga, which may not please multiplexes as they prefer to restrict films to two-hours of running time. At least 40 minutes of the three hours will be taken up by 13 songs. As Whats Your Raashee? releases this Friday we at ZoOm spoke exclusively with the lead cast of the movie, Priyanka Chopra and Hurman Baweja.
