Fortunately, I got to see the Greats in an All Star Game in 1965: Clemente, Aaron, Ernie Banks, Frank Robinson, Rose , Santo, Stargell, Torre, Wills pitchers : Koufax, Gibson, Drysdale, Marichal (MVP); AL had Mantle, Brooks Robinson, Kaline, Killebrew, Colavito, Tony Oliva, Yastrezemski, But the Nationals had Willie Mays, who blasted a homer, ran the bases , threw out runners! Greatest I ever saw!

I play long toss and pop-up drills all the time. I've tried the basket catch on pop ups and fly balls, and I've got a three inch bruise on my wrist to show for it. It isn't easy.
