(Film from Iran) Film Lovers: Unexposed / Exposed features three prominent female film figures in Iranian cinema: Niki Karimi, the leading female star of post-Revolutionary Iran; Rakhshan Bani-Etemad, the most prestigious Iranian woman filmmaker; and Tahmineh Milani, the director of controversial feminist movies including Two Women and The Hidden Half. In Exposed, actress-turned-director Niki Karimi reflects on her work as an actress, with which she has done well but has not found satisfying. In directing, she says, she is exploring and discovering herself.
