Barrio Bonito is a hidden treasure, quietly tucked away in the heart of Lonely Beach, a laid-back village on the south-western coast of Koh Chang, a tropical paradise in the gulf of Thailand. The location of Lonely Beach is ideal for those who prefer to be away from the busy tourist areas while still being close to the beach with all the amenities you need on an island holiday.
Barrio Bonito is a authentic Mexican restaurant run by your hosts Julien and Mariana. Authentic Mexican food is made daily from original family recipes catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thai dishes are also available throughout the day.
Indulge in mouth-watering Mexican dishes that are prepared on the premises from original family recipes. Try the beef quesadilla: a crispy corn tortilla wrapped around slices of tender beef, refried beans and cheese and grilled until golden, a customer favorite -- or the chicken burrito: a flour tortilla topped with melted cheese wrapped around succulent pieces of chicken thigh and baked until sizzling hot. All served with our delicious home-made salsa. And even better accompanied by a Mojito or Margarita by the pool.
There's a relaxing bar with a range of beers, spirits, non-alcoholic drinks and mouth-watering cocktails. A cosy, restful lounge area to chill out after a hard day at the beach or diving and free wireless Internet, free advice on travel and activities, accomodation and much more...
