This is the first project I did from start to finish. Starting with the script to post production. Took me a long time to do, and I was learning how to do stuff as I went, that's why the fist few shot's doesn't look that great. There are a few things I would have done differently, now in retrospective. I should have chosen an asteroid field as the setting for the film. This way you could use the asteroids as a reference point, to determine for example how fast and the fighters are moving. A bit more story might have been better too. I'm happy how it turned out.
This film was inspired my the X-wing games series. Hope they bring a new one soon!

I hate to tell you but Talon Squadron never used A-Wings. Also that isn't a Victory-class Star Destroyer, that would be an Imperial class. In case you don't know the difference Imperial-class is used for frigates, and Victory is for fighters. But other than that here is my advice, roll in place then pull up sharp on the stick. Do this in a very fast pattern. This might save you sometime other than good luck Talon Squadron until you get completely wiped out but Myn Donos.

Amazingly well done. Perfect beginning with the intro and the stars, nice credits, classic scenes after 3:16 ;), nice fight perspective on 3:38, i just didn't like the red lasers, they don't have that much outer brightness, and the planet looks like a giant red ball :S... you are right with the setting, it would have been much better with an asteroid field, there are parts where the ships seem not to be moving... great video though

Hey Iron, thanks for the input.
About the lasers: It's real tricky. I added so much glow so you are able to see the lasers even from a distance. Otherwise they would only disappear after a short while. But I've might over did it.
The planet looks cool in the high-def version. It actually has a lot of detail. The problem is that everything is lost in the compression.
