The greatest show ever!!! Back then they weren't afraid of talking about the Bible or God...it's funny that few if any were offended either!

THANKS! This is SO beautiful! I used to get to see TR in re-runs,but they haven't been on here 4 a few years and I miss it so! My 3 favorite episodes were a) when the house got shot up and set on fire, + Pa told Mark the story about Job, b) the one with the Confederate (with the horrible wound) that ending up meeting Sherman or Grant + got his wound treated, c) the old man that thought he was Abe Lincoln and Lucas told Mark to just understand, +that the old guy meant no harm.NO show comesCLOSE!

MY favorite show till this day. There has never been anything written with the first class morals, and power as this program for the TV public. What a shame we are not able to "Perfect" another program like this today! Chuck...you are so missed.

@RiflemanRay1 You are so welcome. I love this song. When we do what we love & love what we do, taking pride in our work, it shows. You, Jeff & Bryan gave it your all with the lyrics, song, music and putting together this fantastic video to bring pleasure to many of us who grew up with this clean, wholesome show. I am proud to be part of that era. There will never be another Conners/Lucas or Crawford/Mark. This duo stood head & shoulders above the rest. RIP Mr Conners. U R missed.

@gsong123 Between Hollywood, bankers, lobbying corporations & lawyers, this country quckly sank.
I was 12 years old when The Rifleman first aired. I will soon be 64. I loved this program then and I love it today. The chemistry between father and son such as Lucas and Mark was so real. I have never seen real parents and children exhibit love for one another as they did. I laughed and cried with some of these episodes. The 50's and 60's were about family. Thank you RiflemanRay1 for bringing this wonderful show back to life.

A nice tribute. A great show. I haven't seen it's equal since I was a kid. "Lucas Boy" taught his son morals & even about God, & was as much a decent human being as he was a bad-ass with that Winchester of his. Today's stuff is just that....stuff. In my opinion, The Rifleman had no equal.

I first saw Rifleman in about '75, well my dad happened to have a 30-30 lever action Winchester me and my friends used to dry fire it to see if we could be as fast as Lucas. The old man was out deer hunting when a big buck made an appearance so he takes aim pulls the trigger and click, nothing happened, we'd broken the firing pin. Funny thing the old man wasn't mad and he never hunted again.
