UK must withdraw from Afghanistan, not increase contingent

The UK can only end the stale conflict in Afghanistan through diplomacy, not through an increased military presence, Bob Bailey from the British National Party told RT.

The British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has pledged 500 more troops to Afghanistan, if certain conditions are met.

Brown told MPs that he'll boost the British force to 9,500 if they can be properly equipped, if other allies increase their presence as well, and if the Afghan government speeds up the training of its own forces.
He made the pledge on Wednesday after reading out a roll-call of 37 British soldiers killed in action there since July.
Agreed indeed, no hope in Afghanistan as the Afghans don't want democracy giving their predilection for the backward antiquated system that is the Sharia Law.
