I would not recommend putting your rope in the driveway. You never know what kind of harmfull chemicals your vehicle could be dropping off there. Those chemicals could reduce the strength of your rope. I just flaked my rope out on a tarp and let air from a vent blow on it.

can you do this even if your rope is not dry coated?
