Droid X Blur Widgets and UI Review - BreakAndMake.com

This is a full detailed review of the DROID X's Blur UI. I cover widgets, apps, and the bugs and issues I've discovered.

This is not BLUR in the sense that we know of where it you sign up at their site and then tie in all your social networks together. Instead, you add your accounts to the phone and the Moto Widgets then stream everything you added on the phone. It doesn't have all the backups etc either like Blur.

@jimmybarger3 I think overall, including all the little bugs in the MOto widgets, i'd probably give it a good 7.5 or 8.

When FROYO 2.2 comes out for it, that's going to boost the rating up to about 8.5. I'd never give it a perfect though, it does have its moments of sluggishness where it decides to hiccup on loading things, and waking up from lock screen. Overall its an amazing phone and I'm so glad that I found it in the scavenger hunt.

The facebook pictures wont go up on the contact widget. Its really annoying. They all show up in the contacts but not on the widget.

Maybe your speed is what makes Swype so crazy? I'm not turtle-slow but I'm definitely not as fast as you and I almost never have typos on the X :/
