@brianwelchisaphony Why do you call it a cult? Do you know what you are talking about? Calvary Chapel teaches directly from the Bible. No legalisms, no weird stuff. Just Bible pure and simple. Maybe you should go check it out before you talk out of your arse. But you are probably of the ilk that believes that anyone who believes that Jesus is Messiah, belongs to a cult.. Sad for you.

@AhuitzotlTlazohtla They accuse them of racism. But I started at Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, and there is a wonderful mix of races there and at all of the other Calvary Churches all over the world. I have been to many here in the USA and also the world.. Never have seen any evidence of racism!!! And besides, isn't going to a particular church a PERSONAL choice and not the choice of the CHURCH?

They Have Black & Spanish Pastors !

They started in predominantly White orange county, so just Law of Averages, The Main location has Mostly white, but that's just cause where they are at, many Asians Are there & an exclusive Spanish Fellowship during the week

@lasvegastroll CHuck Smith has spoken out against the Emergent Church and there is nothing in his teaching that is "Emergent" He said that at first he was swept up by this doctrine but has since renounced it RESEARCH IT!!! HE NO LONGER SUPPORTS RICK WARREN. They are NOT pentecostal either. I guess they would seem Pentecostal if you came from Southern Baptist background where even laughing is shunned...
