I have been an animal rights advocate for over a decade. The only thing that changes things for the better is if LARGE amounts of people voice their disgust and most importantly, it impacts them negatively in making money. It's all about the money. Please do your part. If we all act, we can end this misery for these very docile, sweet dogs. Google: PETA -- they're worldwide.

To everyone digusted by their barbarian acts of cruely to very sweet dogs, PLEASE GET INVOLVED! Write to the Ambassador from Spain in your country, to the pres. of Spain, their tourism bureau, etc. Tell them you will not step foot in their country or buy their products until they STOP cruelty to animals (bulls, too!). And MEAN IT. Europeans: STOP VACATIONING IN SPAIN!!!!!

Oh no........ that is such sad news. Thank you for letting me know. I am thankful that at least Guapo knew what love and kindness was for those brief few weeks, he is far from pain and fear now, another angel at peace in heaven.

I'm so glad you posted Guapo's story, I had seen his picture and I have it in one of my videos and I often wondered what happened to him. I'm so glad he is loved and cared for now, I hope there will be many more happy endings for greyhounds and galgos who are so often abused by cruel people. Thank you xx

Im so sorry but Guapo didnt make it :(
His body was too broken and he went into septic shock and had to be put down. His story is even more sad that he only knew kindness for a few weeks, and the kindest thing in the end was to stop his suffering.

En España no todo el mundo maltrata animales ni va a los toros, a mi no me gusta que maten toros, y ademas tengo un galgo adoptado, asi que informaros antes de hablar, por cierto en vuestros paises tambien hay monstruos de personas.
In Spain not the whole world ill-treats animals does not even go to the bulls,my I do not like that they kill bulls, and in addition I have an adopted galgo, like that greyhound that to find out before speaking, certainly in your countries also there are persons' monsters

elkiehound, a most touching video. Thank you for shining the spotlight on Spain's utter indifference to animal suffering.

I have signed a petition on PETA's website to Spain's officials calling for immediate protections for the Galgo. Let Spain know that you will not spend your tourist dollars in their country.
