Getting My Mooney

The Mooney M20J was flown in from Bloomington Indiana to Easton Pennsylvania on Sunday May 22. My brother, broker, fiance, and I visually inspected the plane. The selling broker, my broker, and I flew around for about 45 minutes in IMC to test the airplane's instruments, avionics, and auto pilot. A thorough annual inspection was performed the following day and by the end of Tuesday, this Mooney 201 became mine. This is my Mooney. Stay tuned for videos of many flights in it to come.

Nice looking Mooney. What do those go for? I bet the insurance is through the roof being a young pilot.

@jrv20308 Not really. I don't think age matters for insurance premiums too much. It's mostly about how much retract time you have. Instrument rating helps a lot too. Gonna work on it so I hope that will make the insurance more reasonable.

We live in an age where people can fly and go to space. That's neat-o-keen. I always thought flying is super expensive and dangerous but slow and easy to an astronaut. God bless and god speed.
