i was Plt 2060 in 2010 graduated in august.

@Crowe2Extreme - lol, the DIs don't even expect recruits to know how to shower or make their own racks, let alone cover down by eye sight. You also have to remember that recruits come from very diverse backgrounds and most won't remember the proper spacing right away when they're learning several other things in the stressful environment that is boot camp.
By the final drill however, I'm pretty sure they DO cover down by eye sight.

@Fuzionrider it's been a while since I drilled, if you are 2nd rank, you're taking one step? 3rd rank takes two, 4th rank takes three and so on and so forth.
