Former Chief Justice Sarath N. Silva today addressed a press briefing organized by the DNA to elaborate on the legal perspective of the arrest of Rtd. Gen. Sarath Fonseka. The briefing was attended by JVP MPs Anura Kumara Dissanayaka and Vijitha Herath

  • Mr. Sarath N. Silva should not behave as an infant on legal matters.

    If he needs to make a transparent issue in public regarding court martial of SF, better he publish all relevant contracts agreed by SF and his willful submissions.

    Otherwise, better not point here and there to build a hypothetical case, and to assume win for a kick.

    It is expected by a former chief justice to be broad minded and see the big picture. Something is not right with Mr. Sarath N. Silva's formal status.

    Can he understand the term ‘SHALL’?

    Was he qualified and competent to be a Chief Justice?
