I love the Edge and U2 but he's a melody-guitarist. Technical miracle? No but that doesn't matter. Tons of "better" guitarists out there: Jimi Hendrix, Brian May, Joe Satriani, Steve Lukather, Van Halen, Jimmy Page and go on. They all have great tone and melody too, but the Edge is unique just like everyone like them. Music is no competition, enjoy it ;)
