Cass Sunstein, I was born in Soviet Union and I know the history:

all most bloody and twisted things happens because of "good intentions" of some "dreamers" like Lenin, Stalin, Mao and so on...

- first, they disarmed population and then their hanchmen killed millions with repressions.

So, let's not repeat the history.

any attempt to disarm people would disarm only the Law abiding citisens

and wouldn't affect criminals who don't respect the law.

so such policy would only impover the criminals and endanger the Law abiding citisens and so such ideas and policy are harmful and idiotic in it's core.
